Snooze

Nearly time to rest poor and tired eyes, after a very hurtful day.

Will await the silver lining.

Sleep

A constant repetitive knock
prevents the sleeper
entering the land.

In need of new ideas

The time has come to further explore and experiment with poetry.

Up until now, it has been a hobby of mine to write whatever comes to mind, and that's usually random thoughts, that just slot together.

But I think it's about high time I choose a subject and just run with it.

Check back for updates!

Always thinking,

When we are Sleeping

In the night, whilst mortals sleep,
An unexpected visitor creeps
in through the window or chimney or door
and leaves traces of where they've been on the floor.

We've all been graced with it's presence
but it comes when we least expect it
and comes more than we think
leaving it's remains in the sink

or shower or bath,
it can't be blamed on the cat-

we don't have a cat-

it's the big fat hair monster,
who always remains unseen,
and then who gets blamed for
his visits; little little me....

Start of the Journey

I guess that's why they call it the blues
drowned out by a saxophone and a
catchy drum beat, clicking heels and
shuffling feet murmurs, tickets please
thumbing the newspaper eratically -
what are you looking for? porn in the Metro
this train travels all the way to Holyhead
that's 3.5 hours, so turn that music down,
before I send your iPod to bed!

End of Term

Ambling around, attempting to look busy
and easily distracted by local sounds,
for the summer, I've truly unwound.
